self-care basket from Bonnie
Neumeier
Bonnie’s basket is filled with gifts that help us nurture ourselves as we seek justice for the long haul. She says taking care of ourselves well is a necessary, political act. We need to remember to add things in our lives that will bring us peace, joy and comfort. Her basket includes:
Bonnie loves to read and write. Keeping a journal feeds her soul. Reading poetry is like sacred prayer. Finding something creative to do with your hands is always helpful. Enjoy these craft gifts; they were created with homemade love. Sharing tea and conversation with a friend is a must. Keeping in touch with friends by sending a handwritten notecard is special. We need our friends to witness and share our journey. Taking a shower with the fresh smell of peppermint can rejuvenate your spirit. Going to a thrift store finding a basket is always fun. Whoever wins this basket of goodies please know that the Peaslee family is grateful for your support. And Bonnie wants you to love and nurture yourself well every day of the year. These gifts may help you do just that, especially with a taste of dark chocolate to sweeten your day!
LEGO set and backpack, Hamilton sweatshirt and banner from
Chris Heckman
I love LEGO! I love the creativity, the endless
creations, the colorful bricks, and joy that is had when an idea comes
together. This summer, our family went to Billund, a small city in Denmark
where LEGO was founded and is currently based. I'm hopeful that a little
LEGO-loving student can enjoy showing off such a unique backpack!

City. Added in are several Looney Tunes characters who are also on a “Lunch
Break” from their construction work. There is a Certificate of Authenticity on
the back of the picture. Included are 3 USPS STAMPERS (somewhat faded) of
Looney Tunes postage stamps and a homemade Bugs Bunny birthday card.

massager from Elizabeth Burnside

stress behind, and treat yourself to a neck massage, foot massage, or both at

games from JT Sedgwick
JT
believes that having fun is one of the most important political acts that
someone can do. In the face of a society bent on taking so much, it is crucial
that people hold onto their joy. As such, he offers a small selection of games
that he has enjoyed over the years. He suggests you share the experience with a
few loved ones.
