Did you know you can reach both ends of the Heinz Wildlife Refuge by train? Our walk to and through the fall bird migration begins with coffee and snacks at 30th Street Station, then a train ride to Prospect Park where we begin our walk past several fascinating and beautiful historic sites and then enter the Refuge. We’ll enjoy several miles of trails along waterways and a lagoon where we expect to see many birds, picnicking along the way. Our return will be via the Eastwick station and a short train ride back to 30th Street.
