Free to Be You: Writing Your Authentic Story

No matter the genre, it can be hard for a writer to access their most authentic voice. The influence of a favorite writer, the books on the bestseller lists, and cultural obsessions can all crowd out the story a writer is truly meant to tell. So how does a writer quiet all the other voices so they can hear their own? In this four-hour master class, participants will be given exercises, sample readings, and practical writing advice to help them leave with a better sense of their own voice. A question and answer session will also give participants a chance to ask specific advice about their individual writing projects. 

*The master class is limited to 25 students max. Attendees can attend the class in person or online via Zoom.
