In 1981, a group of service-minded Philadelphia lawyers founded a volunteer program in response to federal funding cuts to civil legal aid. Forty-five years later, Philadelphia VIP and our legal volunteers still open doors to advocacy for hundreds of Philly residents, small businesses, and nonprofits annually.
We invite you to join us in celebrating forty-five years of pro bono at our Anniversary Gala on the evening of Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 6:30-10:30pm ET at the National Constitution Center at 525 Arch Street. Gather with friends and colleagues after much time away, win an exciting experience in our 45th Anniversary auction, and enjoy live music by a local favorite, West Philadelphia Orchestra! Guests will also enjoy a cocktail reception, dinner, and open bar throughout the evening. Formal dress. Free on-site parking included.
