For almost a century, Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, DC (PPMW) has stood for and with patients and their families, in DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia communities.

With the overturn of Roe v. Wade, we witnessed approximately 36M patients in 26 states lose the right to safe and legal abortion with the stroke of a pen! PPMW must be ready to receive those who come to our region for abortion care, regardless of their financial ability to pay.  We need your support now more than ever. 

As co-chairs of this year’s event, we want to personally invite you to join us as sponsors and supporters of the gala. Proceeds from the night’s fundraising will be dedicated to PPMW’s Abortion Access Fund, a fund that provides partial or total funding to any patient in need of an abortion, whether they reside in our region or in other parts of the country where abortion is banned.

If you are not able to attend the gala, please consider underwriting a sponsorship or ticket so that young, emerging leaders, volunteers, and adult graduates from our educational programs may join this celebration. Or invite friends and family to participate in one of the ways listed above. 

At the center of everything we do, our patients matter the most.
