Dear Friends,
THANK YOU sincerely for your continued interest in supporting Project iAm as we enthusiastically prepare for our 18th annual edition of Acoustics for Autism happening this March 2, 2025. The last several years we have begun our planning earlier and more extensively to build on the success of each event. Last year, we raised an astonishing $275,000 together and promptly distributed those funds to families in our area living with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). With these funds, families are able to realize tangible improvements in their treatment strategies and outcomes as we funded products/therapies not always covered by insurance, yet effective for our families. As this event continues to grow in scale and passion each year, our pledge to you is to remain loyal to our mission and those who have helped us along the way. We are fully vested in the community we serve and continue to find unique ways to support our iAm families.
We are happy to report that our total scholarship distribution for ASD children in our area has reached over $1 million since our inception! What a great milestone our partnership has yielded over the last 17 years. And with your constant support, we can continue to make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
We have some very exciting news to share with you. Project iAm and Acoustics for Autism has been chosen to be featured on the national program “Viewpoint” hosted by Dennis Quaid. This will bring a lot of attention to our mission, our community, and our supporters. Keep an eye out for more details on this development as we plan to launch this well-produced segment that will be televised on public television sometime before this year’ls Acoustics for Autism.
As we continue to be 100% volunteer-based, we will always be grateful to our generous supporters that are willing to share their unique talents and time. We consider you to be “one of us” and hope that you will continue to support this wonderful event and our scholarship program. As you review the sponsorship material this year, please take note that we are including a new (and ninth) “original music” stage. As we strive to get better, we hope you are proud of our joint accomplishments--it’s been a great seventeen years and we could not do it without you.
Yours in Charity and Progress,
Scott Hayes
