The Veterans Reset Center (TVRC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in southern New Jersey with a mission to provide transitional in-house counseling services to displaced Veterans during a 6 month residential counseling program. Our program will give Veterans the necessary tools to return to society as productive and contributing members. The TVRC will also provide transitional benefits counseling services to service members as well as their families.
Project Refit is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in southern New Jersey with a mission to combat isolation among military, veterans, first responders, and their families. Our programs are based on the idea that consistent follow-up is key. Project Refit is building a Mobile Base program that will act as a boots on ground approach to helping veterans and first responders. Mobile Bases are VFWs or American Legions on wheels.
The partnership between TVRC and Project Refit is essential and crucial. While TVRC offers housing and skill building, Project Refit is able to build a relationship and trust to get veterans to TVRC. Once a veteran has completed the TVRC program, they still have a community to land, within Project Refit. MAP plans to partner with these organizations to help their clients navigate economic-based legal issues they may face. Together, these agencies seek to address some of the most pressing issues facing the Veteran community in the Delaware Valley.
TOGETHER WE AIM TO BUILD A UNIQUE COMMUNITY EVENT THAT: WILL CREATE AWARENESS ABOUT THE OVERWHELMING AND UNIQUE NEEDS OF THE VETERAN COMMUNITY AND THAT FOSTERS COMPASSION FOR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES
To raise the necessary funds to fortify three non-profit organizations which support Veterans and First Responders in New Jersey and Philadelphia.
To develop an annual fundraiser to create a community of compassion and unity.
Together, we have developed a softball tournament fundraiser called “First In...Last OUT”.
This an excellent opportunity for the surrounding community to enjoy a day of fellowship, fun and physical fitness while supporting a worthy cause.
Teams will also have the opportunity to obtain company sponsors (local/national) and individual sponsors to help support them and our Veterans.
The Veterans Reset Center and Project Refit will distribute all funds raised to each organization equally (50/50).
The Veterans Reset Center will channel 100% of the proceeds to the acquisition of our first building in the Camden County area and nearby vicinity at (enter exact location).
Project Refit will channel 100% of the proceeds to fund expeditions to support Veterans and First responders locally, regionally and across the country.
(The TVRC and Project Refit will collaborate to present the New Jersey bracket of the softball tournament)
Collectively, we will raise funds for these deserving nonprofits who serve our nations’ heroes and their families. What a great opportunity to support worthy causes.
