Due to the continued uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, we sadly must cancel this year’s Beautiful Promise.
As many of you know, Beautiful Promise is our most important fundraiser of the year. The proceeds from this event alone fund nearly half of our incredible program. We understand that this is a challenging time for all of us. If you are in a position to help, we still need your support!
As families are adjusting to remote learning for the first time, impoverished children with learning disabilities are especially impacted by this transition. We are pivoting to make certain our children are getting what they need, and guiding and supporting our parents through this process.
Although we won’t be gathering together on May 5th, we hope you will still consider joining our annual event by making a donation in lieu of your sponsorship, pledges, tickets, and auction bids. Your contribution is 100% tax deductible and will ensure we are able to continue our work so that our most vulnerable children – and their families – get the services they need.
These children need us now more than ever!
A decade ago, Promise opened its doors at Columbia University Medical Center to provide New York City’s most vulnerable children with learning disabilities the path to an education. Our groundbreaking research is paving the way for generations to come.
