Gardens Aglow LGBTQIA+ Community Day

Queerly ME and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens welcome back community members for another LGBTQIA+ Gardens Aglow gathering!
Our gathering will begin with a Trail Mixer from 6:30PM to 7:30PM. We will meet outside of the Education Center in the gardens, which you will be directed to when you check in at the front lobby. Trail Mixers are connection centered trail walks, and our flagship program. Periodically during our walk, we will propose conversation prompts to participants. Each time a conversation prompt is introduced, we encourage participants to “mix it up” and find a new person to talk to. These walks help participants build support networks from the ground up!
From 7:30PM to 9:00PM, we encourage participants to explore the gardens and strengthen the connections they made during our walk!
Accessibility: The central garden areas are designed to be ADA-compliant, offering accessible pathways for all. Electric scooters and wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis to help ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, free of charge.

Youth (ages 3-17)
This ticket covers the admission of one child (ages 3-17)! We do not require a ticket for children ages 0-2.
35% of ticket proceeds go towards Queerly ME to cover the time and energy required for Queerly ME organizers to create and facilitate this gathering.
Your contribution also supports Queerly ME's work during a significant period in our nonprofit’s journey to foster strong support networks and community belonging for LGBTQIA+ adults! As of July 6th, 2026, Queerly ME accomplished a major milestone by hiring its first full-time Executive Director. This accomplishment, which is only possible with the generous support of program participants and donors, propels Queerly ME’s ongoing efforts to ensure that the LGBTQIA+ community is thoroughly connected, healthy, and well-resourced in all 16 counties.
