Ragamala Rooted: A Gala Celebration takes place at our company home, The Center for Performing Arts in South Minneapolis. We welcome all to celebrate with us where we rehearse daily and continue to grow our art.

Ragamala Dance Company took root 31 years ago with Ranee and Aparna Ramaswamy's belief in the Indian classical dance form of Bharatanatyam to uplift and inspire audiences. Ragamala is now recognized worldwide for it's trailblazing art that transcends boundaries, ignites the imagination, and mines the spirituality and philosophy of Indian art forms to move, transport, and unite audiences worldwide.

Join us for a fun and meaningful evening where you can celebrate and support Ragamala's work in our 31st year! Enjoy drinks in the lobby, a performance by the company, dinner catered by Raag Progressive Indian Cuisine, and tours of the beautiful Ragamala studio. Our annual gala includes an important opportunity to support Ragamala's work through both live auction offerings and a special fundraising initiative for our new work, Children of Dharma, premiering in November and touring throughout 2025 and 2026. Celebrate with us on Saturday, May 4!
