Women Leading Change: A Story from the Amazon Rainforest

Friday, October 30, 2026 | 12:00 PM Central Time | Live on Zoom

Join Rainforest Partnership for a special virtual gathering highlighting an inspiring women-led initiative in the Ecuadorian Amazon.

Meet the women working to develop a sustainable fish-farming project that supports food security, strengthens livelihoods, and creates new opportunities for their community while protecting the rainforest they call home.

We'll share a beautiful new short film about the project, followed by a presentation from the local Project Manager, who will share the women's progress, challenges, current projects, and hopes for the future.

The program will conclude with a live Q&A, giving you an opportunity to learn more and connect directly with the work taking place on the ground.

Your participation matters! Donations of any size help Rainforest Partnership support Indigenous-led conservation and sustainable community initiatives.

The event is free to attend, with optional donations warmly welcomed.

Presented in English and Spanish, with Zoom translated captions available.
