A fundraiser benefiting Raptor Center of Southeast Michigan

Join us for an afternoon of bowling, community, and conservation as we raise funds to support injured and orphaned birds of prey across Michigan. Every game bowled helps provide food, medical care, rehabilitation, and safe housing for hawks, owls, falcons, eagles, and other wildlife in need.

Whether you’re bowling for fun, bringing the family, or gathering a competitive team, your participation directly supports lifesaving wildlife care.

Why It Matters

Wildlife rehabilitation is costly, and the need continues to grow each year. Funds raised from Bowling for the Birds will help provide:

• Emergency rescue and rehabilitation
• Veterinary care and medications
• Food and daily care for recovering birds
• Safe enclosures and habitat improvements
• Community education and outreach

Strike for the Birds Challenge

Think you’ve got the perfect throw? Participants can make a small donation ($5) for a chance to compete in a special strike challenge during the event. Anyone who bowls a strike during the challenge round can win prizes, raffle entries, or bragging rights as one of the event’s top bird bowlers!

Best Team Name Contest

Get creative and show off your bird humor! Teams are encouraged to come up with fun, bird-themed bowling names. Guests will vote for their favorites, and the winning team will receive a prize and event bragging rights.

Best Bird-Themed Outfit Prize

Have fun dressing the part! Wear your best bird-inspired outfit, team costume, feathers, wildlife gear, owl accessories, eagle attire, or creative nature-themed look. Event attendees or judges will select a winner for the most spirited and creative outfit.
