The inaugural Rare Disease Renegades Pickleball Tournament will be held August 16, 2026 at The Pickler in Burlington. The tournament will be 32 doubles teams with a first round round-robin guaranteeing 3 games for each team. The second round and going forward will be single elimination. 

The entry fee is a fully deductible donation to Rare Disease Renegades (EIN 87-1735840).

Rare Disease Renegades is raising money this year to fund a grant to develop splice switching antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) patients affected by mutations that have not been commonly explored by major drug development programs. 

If you are entering a team please bring your own paddle and appropriate court shoes.
