From Recovery to Purpose: Expanding Support, Creating Jobs, and Building Brighter Futures
Chef Joshua Day, of Homeboy Goods, will prepare a mouth-watering meal for us, and we will also have hot air balloon rides (weather permitting), photo ops, a silent auction, live music, fellowship, and the chance to hear inspiring stories of recovery, and the ways Recovery RX has changed lives. Come out and support a great cause, benefitting those in recovery and their families while having a great time. Dress is casual.
This year we are focusing on expanding the support and services we can provide to our clients and the community at large. A dedicated Case Manager and Program Manager will provide individualized guidance, connect clients with essential resources, and help them build a strong foundation for long-term recovery. We also plan to open a client-run thrift store that will provide immediate employment opportunities as soon as clients enter our program, allowing them to earn income, develop job skills, build confidence, and regain a sense of purpose from day one. We've already starting collecting furniture, household items, and clothes!
Recovery RX Corp is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing health, fitness, support, and community to men and women in recovery from addiction through group workouts and raising funds to provide financial assistance toward treatment, transitional housing, therapy, and gym memberships for those of us battling addiction.
