Who is ready for the Kentucky Derby?!?   The big race is quickly approaching, so it is time for Derby Squares in conjunction with our Run for the Roses Fundraiser!   We will be selling Derby Squares for the big race for $25 per square until they are sold out or just before the race starts.  Winner need not be present to win (be sure to leave your email or phone number to contact you if you do not plan to attend the event). 

The Derby Squares pool is similar to the football squares you see around Super Bowl time.  It consists of a 20-20 grid, and the boxes represent the 1st place (x axis) and 2nd place (y axis) horses. If Horse #11 wins and Horse #3 finishes second, then the square where those horses meet on the grid wins the prize.

The grand prize is up to $3000*, for the person whose square matches the 1st and 2nd place horses.  There will also be a “last place” prize of up to $1000*, for the person whose square matches the last and 2nd-to-last horses.   We will also have a few random drawings of $50 each!! (*depending on the number of tickets sold).  

Run for the Roses is a very fun event and the Derby Squares make the race a little more exciting! In addition, we can raise some funds to support our incredible cause! 

 

All you need to do to participate is the following:

1. Enter the number of Derby Squares you want to buy above. Each square is $25.
2. Each square will be randomly placed on the grid.
3. Just prior to the race, the horse numbers on the grid axes will be randomized.
4. When the race is over, the winning squares will be announced.
