Respire Haiti has been rooted in Haiti for ten years rescuing  RESTAVEKS; children living in deplorable conditions suffering mental, physical and sexual abuse at the hands of their guardians. Modern day slavery in the 21st century.

Currently there are over two million orphans or vulnerable children in Haiti; 500,000 of them, restaveks, in need. With your presence and donations at the event we will be able to assist Respire by broadening their capacity of educating and rehabilitating these children. 100 percent of donations gathered at United for Haiti will be used exclusively for the community and those in desperate need.

This event will feature a tremendous Caribbean buffet from Dominican chef Carolina Arias (@chefcarolinaarias) as well as live music by "Afro y Los 420" from NY (@afrodominicano). We will be dancing merengue, bachata, zouk, salsa, and reggae, as well as featuring family games, raffles, and many surprise guests.
