Join us as we gain insight into the Vietnam War from inspirational, award-winning history teacher Robert M. Rodrigues (known to his students as "Mr. Rod") and veterans from a variety of military branches and roles, as well as diverse backgrounds. Panelists will participate in a candid discussion about their experiences in Vietnam and their re-entry to civilian life. The Vietnam Symposium offers a peek into the Vietnam War and its impact on American history through a panel of veterans who lived it.
Join us at 5:30 PM for registration and refreshments. The panel will begin at 6:30 PM.

This event is made possible by the board members of the Robert M. Rodrigues Fund and Duquesne University. Over decades in the classroom, Robert Rodrigues inspired tens of thousands of young adults to further their knowledge of the past and better their communities for the future. Now retired, Mr. Rod continues to teach at local universities and through this event.
Donations support the Robert M. Rodrigues Fund "Good Citizen Award" given to a graduating senior at Chartiers Valley High School and future lectures in this history series.
We look forward to learning about our country's history and citizens with you at The Vietnam Symposium on March 11!
