A Sexual Assault Protection Orders (SAPO) can be a remedy and safety measure for a survivor of sexual violence. However, not everyone qualifies under the statute and the proceedings can be quite different from domestic violence protection order proceedings. This session looks at the statutory requirements, preparing for a hearing and trauma-informed representation of a survivor for a SAPO case.
