Sherwood Autism Centers is bringing a new twist to our annual Ugly Sweater Bowling Fundraiser with the Jingle Bowl, a festive afternoon of bowling, ugly sweaters, music, food, and community, all in support of children and families impacted by autism.
Join us December 5th at Ward Parkway Lanes for an afternoon where the sweaters are ugly, the competition is friendly, and the impact is anything but.
Grab your favorite teammates and form a team of five. With space for just 24 teams, this is your chance to gather your friends, family, coworkers, or favorite bowling crew for a one-of-a-kind holiday fundraiser.
Here's what's waiting for you:
🎳 Bowling: Bring your best game and enjoy some friendly competition on the lanes.
🎄 Ugly Sweater Contest: Go big, go bold, go wonderfully ugly. The most outrageously festive sweater will win a prize!
📸 Photo Booth: Capture the memories and show off your team's holiday spirit.
🍴 Food & Festive Fun: Enjoy food, music, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate with the Sherwood community.
Most importantly, you'll be helping Sherwood Autism Centers continue doing what we do best: seeing opportunity everywhere, to fill a gap, teach a skill, and make a connection.
Every strike, spare, sweater, and team registration helps create opportunities for children and families to learn, connect, grow, and thrive.

Team Registration
Build Your Team. Pick Your Name. Bowl Ugly!
Ready to Jingle Bowl? Gather your favorite 5-person team and get registered!
Team Registration: $175 per team
Each team will need to:
- Register a team of 5 bowlers
- Designate one team captain to complete the registration and serve as the team's main point of contact
- Choose a fun and festive team name
- Come ready to bowl, celebrate, and show off your ugliest holiday sweater!
What Happens After You Register?
Once your team is registered, you're officially on the Jingle Bowl roster! Your team captain will be the primary contact for event communications and updates.
Lane assignments will be made by Sherwood Autism Center and sent to team captains on December 1st. Teams will receive their assigned lane before the event so everyone knows exactly where to go when they arrive.

Presenting Sponsor
As a Presenting Sponsor, your support makes Kansas City the classroom for every Sherwood student.
Funds: a full year of weekly community outings for every student ($5,800), a full year of field trips for every adult ($1,200), and 10 weeks of rides to work for adults in Supported Employment ($500).
Why it matters: Every trip to the store, a restaurant, the zoo, or a job site builds confidence, independence, and joy, and helps our students and adults get to know the city they call home. Many of these experiences wouldn't be within reach without the teachers and teammates beside them

Ugly Sweater Contest Sponsor
As an Ugly Sweater Contest Sponsor, your support helps provide a place to learn and a stage to shine.
Funds: a Smartboard and rolling stand for our adults ($2,000), plus three months of celebrations ($495).
Why the Smartboard matters: hands-on, visual learning where adults plan their own outings, map bus routes, and practice job interviews together.
Why the celebrations matter: the talent show builds confidence on a real stage. Holiday meals bring everyone around one table. Fall Fest opens our doors so Kansas City can see the magic sauce that makes Sherwood special.
Your partnership level includes:
- Exclusive naming rights to the signature contest.

Strike Sponsor
As a Strike Sponsor, your support gives a student a voice.
Funds: an AAC speech tablet for a student ($700–$1,600). AAC lets a student tap pictures or words, and the tablet speaks for them.
Why it matters: a student can say what they want, how they feel, and that they want to play with a friend. Frustration goes down, friendships go up, and their community circle of family members, friends, and teachers can understand the individual's needs without guessing.

Team Sponsor
As a Team Sponsor, your support provides a month of discovery for our adults.
Funds: a full month of program supplies and field trips for the adult program ($450).
Why it matters: supplies turn everyday activities into lessons in independence, like cooking a meal, managing a budget, or creating art. Field trips take our adults into Kansas City to volunteer, explore, and connect, building friendships and a real sense of belonging in their community.
Your partnership level includes:
- Sponsoring a team of Sherwood clients or staff to bowl.
- Name on team sign.

Lane Sponsor
As a Lane Sponsor, your support provides a tablet that brings calm and learning.
Funds: a classroom tablet ($200–$400).
Why it matters: visual schedules show students what's coming next, which brings calm. Learning apps make reading, math, and money skills fun. One tablet can serve a whole classroom or be designated to an individual based on needs.

- Name listed on the event program.
