POETIC PROMENADE

June 20 & 21, 2026

Two days. Two distinct gatherings. One shared commitment to study, solidarity, and wonder.

Poetic Promenade is School for Poetic Computation’s first large-scale community event and annual fundraiser—reimagining prom and graduation as collective rituals of art, technology, and lifelong learning.

Join us for one day or both.

WHY THIS MATTERS

SFPC is an independent, experimental school founded on mutual aid, reciprocity, and education for all. We believe there is enough wealth within our extended community to ensure that no one is turned away from learning due to cost.

Poetic Promenade is how we practice our values together, publicly.

Your ticket directly supports:

— Free and subsidized classes

— Accessible public programs

— Fair pay for teachers and staff

If you are able, we invite you to give generously. If you are not, we invite you to come celebrate with us anyway.

Can't attend but want to support? Donate to the Community Scholarship Fund.

DAY 1: PROM, Saturday, June 20, 8:30pm-12am

A party. A performance. A dance floor.

A night of DJs, live performances, and interactive installations—in the liminal space between a high school, a club, and an internet café. Dress to impress and move your body.

Community ticket for prom: $35

DJ sets and performances by Lita Systems, Ushka, Switch Angel + LO.FI.SCI.FI and more to be announced.

DAY 2: GRADUATION, Sunday, June 21, 3pm-6:30pm

A ceremony. A conversation. A collective reflection.

A seated program featuring talks, reflections, and our graduation ritual honoring SFPC alumni. Expect an afternoon of listening, learning, and witnessing.

Community ticket for graduation: $35

Keynote address by Kelli Anderson, honorary degree award to Stephanie Dinkins, plus panels and presentations by Cameron Granger, Ericka Hart, Shannon Mattern, Kameelah Janan Rasheed, and American Artist.

WEEKEND PASSES

Come for both days. Pay it forward.

Weekend passes are intentionally priced higher than individual tickets. When you purchase a pass, you are redistributing your wealth—supporting scholarships, teacher pay, and the long-term sustainability of SFPC.
