Join SELT for an exciting, hands-on workshop focused on the benefits of riparian buffers at SELT’s Two Rivers Wildlife Preserve in Epping, NH! Phil Auger, licensed forester, and Mark West, wetland scientist, will lead the session and highlight the important role of riparian buffers in protecting water quality, controlling erosion, and providing wildlife habitat.  

Participants will learn how to identify and enhance riparian zones through active management, where appropriate, habitat restoration, planting native species, protecting buffers, and other strategies for long-term stewardship. Please dress appropriately for walking on variable terrain and away from maintained trails. Parking is available on the maintained Class VI Road in front of the Preserve.
