Event Details

Join Filmmakers Jerry Monkman & Ryan Smith as they screen two of their Reel Quest Films here at SELT. The films will include “Reconnected: Restoring the Rivers of Long Island Sound” and “One Million Fish: Restoring Alewives to Maine’s China Lake”

We are screening these two river restoration films to highlight the filmmaking work of our longtime photographer Jerry Monkman (EcoPhotography, LLC) and because they directly relate to our recent SELTie Book Club book Is a River Alive? by Robert Macfarlane.

Jerry and Ryan will be present for a Q&A session after the screenings.

The suggested donation for our Outreach Program is $5 per person and $10 per family - if you'd like, you can donate now or in person.
