Walk or Run to Help Transform Our Community!

Join us in this year's 9th Annual SEED 5K Run/Walk and Community Fair on Saturday, November 8, 2025! The annual walk/run put on by Sowing Empowerment and Economic Development (SEED) Inc. is a great family event that brings people together from Maryland to Michigan. 

Behind the mission of SEED: to help low-income families move from dependency to self-sufficiency. 

During the Community Fair, participants will have the opportunity to receive free blood pressure checks, and nutrition information and participate in fitness activities. Our run will be held in person and virtually for our Michigan participants this year, so participants of all skill levels who like to run or walk can join us for this year’s run.
