Join us on March 28th, 2026 as Dennis James brings his acclaimed “Out of the Air: The Electrifying Theremin” projection-illustrated ‘Informance’ program to the SPARK Museum in Bellingham, WA.
This intentionally popularized lecture-demonstration Theremin concert introduces the 1919 Soviet music instrument invented by Russian electro-physicist Lev Termen (whose name was changed to Leon Theremin during his immigration entry to the USA).
James will perform concert music written or transcribed between
1920 and 1950 especially for the instrument. As one reviewer wrote, "James
has to be heard to be believed. His way with the instrument is virtually
magical.”
This event is for ages 16 yrs and up, and beverages both alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages will be available for sale at the event.
