This special evening will bring together families, community leaders, partners, and supporters for a joyful celebration of the children and families served by Styles 4 Kidz. Relive the excitement of prom while helping us build a future where every child feels cared for, confident, and proud of their crown.

Tickets are $150 per person.

Meet Our Gala Host: Michaela Pereira

Our host,  Michaela Pereira, is an award-winning journalist and the host of the 2026 Styles 4 Kidz Gala.

Michaela is best known for her nearly decade-long role on KTLA Morning News and her work as a host on CNN and HLN. Adopted as an infant into a transracial family, her lived experience has inspired a deep commitment to advocating for vulnerable children and young people.

Michaela has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations and has received numerous honors, including the Genii Award for Excellence in Broadcasting and the Celebrity Philanthropist Award. Today, she continues her advocacy as co-founder of the Compassionate Media Collective, where she helps amplify voices and stories that often go unheard.

Guest Information

• Dress code: Semi-formal. This is an adult prom, so come dressed to impress and ready to buy out the Prom King or Queen seat!
• Parking: Covered paid parking is available in the garage next to the Nineteenth Century Charitable Association. Valet parking will not be available.
• Accessibility: The venue is ADA-accessible. Guests may be dropped off in the circular drive in front of the building, and an elevator is available.

Styles 4 Kidz is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate hair-care education, resources, and services for children with textured hair, particularly those growing up in biracial, transracial adoptive, and foster families.

Hair care is about more than appearance. It is connected to identity, dignity, belonging, culture, confidence, and the experience of being well cared for.
