Join the Tiburon Playhouse Foundation for an extraordinary evening celebrating cinema, storytelling, and one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors: Bruce Dern.

For our inaugural gala, Bruce Dern joins us as Guest of Honor for an intimate celebration of his remarkable life and career—and an evening benefiting the Tiburon Playhouse Foundation’s work to preserve the theater and expand film and community programming.

The evening begins with a red carpet reception, featuring drinks, bites, a silent auction, and an opportunity to celebrate alongside Bruce Dern and fellow film lovers.

Following the reception, just 60 guests will continue to Cinelounge for a special screening of Dernsie: The Amazing Life of Bruce Dern, filmmaker Mike Mendez’s documentary chronicling Dern’s extraordinary career. The film was an Official Selection of Cannes Classics 2026.

After the screening, Dern and Mendez will take the stage for an intimate conversation about the making of Dernsie, Bruce’s life, and a career spanning more than six decades of American cinema.

The evening will culminate with the Tiburon Playhouse Foundation presenting Bruce Dern with a special award honoring his extraordinary contribution to cinema.

This is more than a gala. It is the beginning of a new annual tradition—bringing remarkable people in cinema together with our community while raising meaningful support for the future of film in Tiburon.

A special reception ticket available to guests under 30, created to welcome the next generation of film lovers and supporters into the Tiburon Playhouse community.

GALA + SCREENING | $300
Everything included in the reception, plus one of only 60 seats for the special screening of Dernsie, the post-film conversation with Bruce Dern and Mike Mendez, and the award presentation.

PATRON | $500
Everything included with Gala + Screening, plus preferred seating and a limited, numbered and signed commemorative gala collectible.
