Join us for a walk-a-thon this holiday season as we raise awareness about Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) and celebrate the life of Mark Shaparin by doing one of his favorite activities — seeing Christmas lights! Mark loved this time of year and enjoyed the sights, sounds, and tastes of the holidays. We would often take our three boys to the Dyker Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn in December to see their famous Christmas light display, so we thought it would be the perfect place to hold the first Mark's March for Lights.
We’ll kick off the walk-a-thon with hot chocolate and other holiday treats at 3 pm. Then at 4 pm, walk at your own pace to see the decorated houses. Your ticket also includes a Mark Shaparin Foundation scarf to keep you warm on the walk!
