Presenters
Jo Murdock (she/her)
A New York native, FlowwJo started her fitness career in Miami, Florida in 2015. Prior to her fitness career Jo danced at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. As a fitness instructor, she is certified in Barre, Yoga, Yoga for athletes, and Cardio/ HIIT. She currently teaches for Nike and Y7Studio. Jo’s mission as a yoga teacher is to bring yoga to communities who have historically been withheld from it and underrepresented within it.
Cav Celini (he/him)
Cav is a mindset coach and spiritual teacher, supporting individuals through his company Life Meets Health. Cav serves on the board of the Out Foundation and passionately shares the like-minded mission of supporting the health and wellness of the LGBTQ+ community. Andres Cazares (he/him)
Andres Cazares is a Queer Transman of color who has worked as a clinical social worker in medical settings serving primarily under resourced communities. Currently, Andres is part of the team at NYU Langone’s Gender Affirming Surgery Program where he works to empower patients with the education and tools they need for best outcomes. He works collaboratively with patients to develop safe and thoughtful post-op plans, offering them the resources and support they may need.
Eddie Plata (he/him)
Eddie is the Executive Director at The OUT Foundation (TOF), a nonprofit that removes the barriers that block LGBTQ+ individuals access to health, fitness and wellness. He established the OUTHealth program, which produced this ChillOUT event and also provides support services for the transgender/gender diverse community through TOF's unique partnership at NYU Langone Health. Steph Salazar (she/they)
Steph is a former OUTAthlete who currently lives in Seattle, WA. Steph works as a Career Development Graduate Assistant. A couple of their goals includes the completion of their MEd, Leadership in Higher Education and advancing in powerlifts. They have spent many hours supporting and creating space for LGBTQ+ people on college campuses through student-led social and educational programming.
