We can’t wait to see you on Saturday! Thank you to everyone who has already purchased tickets, volunteered, and generously donated to bring us together. We’re looking forward to a dynamic evening featuring James Vukelich (Ojibwe Word of the Day sensation), Fern Renville (nettle net-making expert), Susan Ninham (cultural values games & Oyate Leadership Network collaborator), and many other friends from the Tiwahe community ready to share how they see themselves in Tiwahe’s origins and future stories. Your presence will make the evening even more special. There is still time to buy your ticket with the link above.

1530 E Franklin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404

Parking and Entrance:

We will have complimentary valet parking at the MAIC main entrance on Franklin Ave. Street parking is also available. Look for our hospitality guides to welcome you into the building. 

Tickets:

You do not need a physical ticket for this event. If you purchased a ticket, your email confirmation serves as your ticket and your name has been registered on our guest list. If you were invited as a guest without registration, please just share who invited you at check-in, no ticket needed. 

Scavenger Hunt & Prizes! 

Join a scavenger hunt to help build relationships and knowledge around Tiwahe’s work strengthening Indigenous leadership, cultural identity, and lifeways. 

Food is Medicine.

Enjoy food and beverages from local Native caterers and other food options representing our BIPOC relatives in our LinkingLeaders Partnership. There are no assigned seats or pre-plated meals. This evening is an interactive, personalized experience designed to engage you with new and old friends. 

Children Are Welcome! 

We will have a supervised child care room with activities organized by our friends at Wicoie Nandagikendan, the first Indigenous urban preschool immersion program created in Minneapolis.
