Celebrate Trans Lifeline's Fifth Anniversary at Glow -- an evening to revel in the transformative power that happens when our community comes together to care for and empower each other.
Over the past five years, we have grown from a small volunteer effort to being the largest direct service provider to trans people in North America. We are now answering over 26,000 calls annually and we have helped over 1,000 trans people legally change their name and gender.
On November 7, we will gather to honor these remarkable accomplishments and discuss our plans for the future. Glow will include time to gather with performances from local artists, delicious food, an open bar with signature drinks, and a chance to support Trans Lifeline's vital work.
Access Notes:
- The GitHub building in downtown San Francisco is wheelchair-accessible, with ADA compliant exits, common spaces, and bathrooms.
- While we cannot guarantee a scent-free space, we encourage people to limit colognes, perfumes, and other scented products that may harm those with chemical sensitivities.
- This is an all-ages event - those who are legally able to drink alcohol will be identified with a ribbon or stamp.
- No one will be turned away for lack of funds. To access free community tickets, please contact us at contact@translifeline.org
