Enjoy cocktails, a conversation featuring award-winning playwright Tony Kushner, and writer and activist, Andrew Solomon, followed by an intimate dinner at the home of Mark Walsh and Bryan Rafanelli in Provincetown's West End.

Tony Kushner is an author, screenwriter and one of the most accomplished playwrights of our time. Among his stage work, he is most known for Angels in America, which earned a Pulitzer Prize and a Tony Award, as well as its subsequent acclaimed HBO miniseries of the same name. At the turn of the 21st century, he became known for his numerous film collaborations with Steven Spielberg. He received the National Medal of Arts from President Barack Obama in 2013. Kushner is among the few writers in history nominated for an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award.

Andrew Solomon is a writer, lecturer, and activist in the fields of politics, culture, disability, and psychology. The Noonday Demon won the National Book Award; it was also a Pulitzer Prize finalist. Far from the Tree was listed by the New York Times among the best 100 books of 21st century. Solomon has visited more than half the world’s countries as seen in Far and Away.”He is now writing a book on youth suicide, Gone Tomorrow.  Solomon is a professor of psychology at Columbia and Cornell Universities, a lecturer in psychiatry at Yale, and a distinguished associate of the Centre for Child, Adolescent and Family Research at Cambridge. He serves as a director or trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New York Public Library, PEN, Yaddo, the Jake Collective, and the Alex Fund. Solomon lives with his husband and son in New York and London and is a national of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Romania. He also has a daughter with a close college friend.
