Join Tzedek DC, local celebrity chefs, and guest judges Congressman Jamie Raskin, Slate's Dahlia Lithwick, UDC David A. Clarke School of Law's Dean Renee McDonald Hutchins, and 2017 Eat Well Do Justice! winner and Schlow Restaurant Executive Chef Alex Levin, in a Knish Knockout for the ages! The event will feature knishes cooked by chefs Cathy Barrow, Cookbook author and Washington Post Food columnist; Ian Boden, Chef, The Shack; Todd Gray, Chef-owner Equinox and Executive chef of Manna in the Museum of the Bible; Johanna Hellrigl, Partner, Fat Baby Restaurant Group, Executive Chef of Doi Moi; and Maria Kopsidas, creator and owner of Cookology. Taste and vote on creative knish interpretations while raising funds to fuel Tzedek DC's free legal services, policy advocacy, and educational outreach for our neighbors facing unjust and abusive debt collection practices
