George Ygarza is a popular educator, militant researcher and interlocutor of critical theory between abiayala and turtle island. His main areas of research are extractivism, critical thought, biopower and popular power. He will talk with us about ‘place-informed methods’, starting with criticisms and blindspots from metatheories before discussing how our lived experiences can help us understand the structural problems we face.
