We are asking for your support of the 2020 Pedal for the Pantry virtual bike ride benefiting the Urbandale Food Pantry on September 27. This is the first event of its kind for the pantry, and it is sure to be a major event in years to come. The virtual ride will be a single day of riding in your neighborhood or favorite trail, or we are also offering a VIP experience onsite at the Urbandale Food Pantry by riding on a trainer with some local celebrities. For virtual riders, we ask that you register by September 9 to receive your t-shirt.
The goal of Pedal for the Pantry is to help raise funding and awareness in support of our mission. It is no secret that a community with access to food is a more productive, more positive and more secure place. It makes employment, studies and residential stability all possible. By signing up for the Urbandale Food Pantry (UFP), Pedal for the Pantry Event, You (the participant completing this sign up form) agree to hold UFP, its’ directors, officers, employees, agents and affiliates harmless and waive the right to make any claim for compensation of any form as a result of any damages, injury or loss you may or may not incur through participation in the Pedal for the Pantry event. Pedal for the Pantry involves exercise which may cause stress on the human body, and all participants should confirm with their doctor their ability to safely participate. You participate in this event at your own risk.
Join us on September 27 from the comfort of your favorite trail as we Pedal for the Pantry to raise money and awareness for the Urbandale Food Pantry. Registration is $30 and participants will receive a custom Pedal for the Pantry shirt - please ensure you register by September 9 to receive your t-shirt. Think you have what it takes to do a live ride? Then join us at the Urbandale Food Pantry for an elevated experience as we ride with a few local celebrities like Mayor Bob Andeweg. Registration is $250 for a 45 min ride on a bike trainer. Limited spots are available. Participants will receive a premier shirt and social media recognition.
