Join the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey as we present this FREE Artist Talk with exhibiting artist Elana Herzog and Sara Reisman, the Chief Curator and Director of National Academician Affairs at the National Academy of Design in New York City. Reisman, who featured Herzog’s work in the exhibition Sedimentations: Assemblage as Social Repair will lead this discussion. Herzog will discuss her Main Gallery exhibition Ripped, Tangled, and Frayed, and share how and why she creates. 

This event will also celebrate the release of Herzog’s exhibition catalogue, created in concert with Ripped, Tangled, and Frayed, and will include a mixer prior to the formal discussion with regional women artists.
