Join Waterside Workshops for a special dinner and fundraiser! Located at the Berkeley Aquatic Park, Waterside Workshops is a nonprofit organization that engages youth and the community through hands-on learning in bicycle mechanics, wooden boatbuilding, and outdoor education.
Funds raised will support our free programs for youth, including camps, classes, counseling, outdoor trips, bike giveaways, and paid job-training internships.
WHEN: Saturday, September 23, 4pm to 9pm
WHERE: Frances Albrier Community Center, 2800 Park St, Berkeley
TICKETS: $100 (or sliding scale $70-$100)
Admission includes tapas, drinks, and wood-fired paella dinner prepared by Chez Panisse chef Dan Alterman and team. We will have fun door prizes and a silent auction, where you can bid on exciting items including concert tickets, mezcal tastings, and resort stays. You could even ride home on a new bike!
Free, secure bike parking is provided.
