By West Virginia Botanic Garden at Tibbs Run Preserve
Scarecrow Spectacular
Registration Deadline: September 5
Delivery to Garden: September 24-30
Registration fee: $35 per scarecrow
(please don't let this keep you from participating,
reach out to us if the price is an issue)
We are once again inviting our non-profit friends in the area (Mon, Marion, and Preston Counties) to display a scarecrow at the WVBG that you may theme around your particular mission or charity (or choose another theme just for fun). Our mailing list is not comprehensive, so feel free to share it with other non-profit organizations if you find they have not been invitedThe idea is to bring awareness of your organization to the public, so you will be able to include your mission statement or other brief (max four sentences) description of your work along with the name of your organization and a link to your website on a sign that we will provide.
While not required, we are requesting a donation of $35 in order to cover costs of bracing and signage at each scarecrow installation.
Scarecrows will remain on display until November 3, when they must be picked up at the Garden.
