Join us for an 8-week summer day camp! We will meet on Wednesdays June 11-July 30, 2025 from 9-4. Each week’s theme will be one of the Seven Grandfather teachings of Anishinaabe tradition: love, respect, bravery, humility, wisdom, honesty, and truth. Children ages 6-13 are invited to participate.
What can you expect at summer day camp?
Spend time in the 28-acre woods! Walk on the Nature Trail. Visit a sheep farm. Go swimming. Play games. Make arts and crafts.
Learn about Native American peoples and cultures.
Enjoy fellowship with other children, youth, and adults.
Parents/Grandparents may accompany their child.
Bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and water bottle each day!
Bus Transportation is available to/from 3 locations in the City of Reading:
1. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1559 Perkiomen Ave in East Reading
2. Bethany Lutheran Church, 336 Franklin St in West Reading
3. Christ Lutheran Church, 1301 Luzerne St. Glenside.
Children may also be dropped off at Zion Spies Church at 9:00 a.m. each morning and picked up at 4:00 p.m.

The cost is $25 per day, which covers program expenses, snacks, crafts, and transportation. For those who are unable to pay the full cost, please choose from one of our lower cost tiers based on your family's needs.
