It’s no secret that COVID-19 has changed the way we’re able to get together. We believe that gathering - whether it be in-person or virtually - is more important than ever before. On September 17, we will be hosting our first virtual fundraiser that will feature powerful conversations, insightful interviews and our leadership team answering your questions. While we are disappointed that we won't be toasting to Wikipedia together in-person, we hope that you will join us from the comfort of your own home!
Thanks to your support, Wikipedia continues to represent the original intent of the Internet as a place for the world to come together to learn, share, and find common ground. Now more than ever we realize the importance of free access to knowledge for everyone in an unprecedented time of need.
Please join us for a virtual event on September 17 as we discuss how current events become historical events on the world’s free encyclopedia, and why we can all learn something from the way editors resolve their differences on Wikipedia.
