The Winnetka-Northfield Rotary Charitable Foundation (a registered 501(c)(3) charity; EIN 36-3119576) is the vehicle the Rotary Club of Winnetka-Northfield uses to support good works on the North Shore, in the Chicagoland area and throughout the world.
Over the years, we have established a women's garment manufacturing cooperative in Morocco, supported an orphanage in Vietnam, schools in Uganda, provided support to a prosthetic clinic in Bolivia, supported a "mechanical cow" project in Guatemala, provided highly nutritious "Kids Against Hunger" meals to starving children in Nicaragua, and funded ShelterBoxes for victims of natural disasters.
Closer to home, we provided new winter coats and shoes to children in need, provide meals to the homeless in Evanston and post-Thanksgiving groceries to families living in transitional housing in Rogers Park, support veterans and their families suffering from PTSD, and provide grants annually to many local organizations through our Community Grants program.
