🌻 Plant Your Feet Where Your Power Blooms: A Sisterhood Supper to Remember 🌻

This Juneteenth, step into sacred soil and soulful celebration at the 5th Annual Sisterhood Supper: Juneteenth Celebration part of WANDA Week which celebrates the contributions of Black women in the food system—where sisterhood isn’t just felt, it’s fed.

Join us Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 3–7PM at The Farm at Kelly Miller in Northeast D.C. as we uplift the brilliance and resilience of Black women in food, from the land to the table.

Come for the music, stay for the movement—DJ One Luv, a soul-nourishing supper by WellBody Kitchen, farm tours, cooking demos, and henna art, all under the sun (yes, we’ve got you—free umbrellas for the first arrivals!). This year’s theme, “Rooted in Joy and Justice,” invites you to root deeply in joy, justice, and collective healing.

Representation matters. At WANDA (Women Advancing Nutrition Dietetics and Agriculture), we believe in the transformative power of Black women and girls leading in the food system—from the soil to the supper table. By supporting the Sisterhood Supper: 5th Annual Juneteenth Celebration, you’re not just funding an event—you’re investing in a movement that educates, advocates, and innovates for food justice, health equity, and cultural healing.
