You are invited to join us for the Women’s Foundation’s 2020 We Work for Change: United We Change event to get inspired by leaders working to advance all women’s economic and civic leadership. Thanks to Linda and Paul DeBruce, The DeBruce Foundation and the Claire Giannini Fund, you can participate in this virtual event at no cost to you! 

Following the main program with Diane von Furstenberg, you will also be able to participate in one of four breakout sessions, with one specifically planned for college/young professionals and youth, thanks to The DeBruce Foundation! United We Act: Building on the Power of One for Systemic Change, will featureA acclaimed TED x speaker, Patti Dobrowolski, CEO of Up Your Creative Genius. Patti will encourage you to draw your current reality, envision your future, and brainstorm 3 bold steps to build the skills and confidence needed to get involved with systemic change and civic engagement.     • United We Advocate: Women & Public Policy – featuring Kansas Governor Laura Kelly and Missouri Governor Mike Parson and moderated by Joni Wickham, Wickham James Strategies & Solutions
    • United We Appoint: Women in Civic Leadership – featuring Victoria Budson, founder and Executive Director of the Women and Public Policy Program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and appointees Mishelle Martinez and Ginger Williams; moderated by KSHB-TV's Dia Wall
    • United We Act: Building on the Power of One for Systemic Change – featuring acclaimed TED x speaker, Patti Dobrowolski, former Kansas City, Missouri Mayor Sly James, U.S. Department of Justice Trial Attorney Sherri Wattenbarger and DeBruce Foundation Career Corps Members Hannah Hall, Stacia Okosi and Alex Oleson
