Join us as the WRC commemorates 50 years of empowering survivors.

This year we reflect on two critical stories of domestic violence that  happened decades apart- Jeanette Smith (1979) and Tina Talbot (2018).  Two Michigan women linked by surviving harrowing "kill or be killed" situations.

Survivor Tina Talbot shares her story about the decision to save herself and her son after enduring decades of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse at the hands of her late husband.  Tina served time in prison for the crime of killing him.
