Before America became a nation, it was a global idea carried across oceans by allies, diplomats, soldiers, and citizens who believed the pursuit of liberty was larger than any one border. From Spanish military support and French naval alliances to international financing and the exchange of democratic ideals, the Revolutionary War and the founding of the United States were made possible through international cooperation and shared sacrifice. 

Two hundred and fifty years later, the Globally 250 Gala honors that multilateral story of America’s origin by convening diplomats, G20 youth delegates, rising public servants, and global leaders for an evening celebrating the partnerships that shaped the nation’s founding and the next generation that will shape its future. 

Hosted at the Embassy of Spain’s Cultural Center in Washington, D.C., the Gala will feature the official G20 Youth Summit Presidency Handoff from the United States to the United Kingdom, symbolizing continued international collaboration and youth leadership at a defining moment for democracies worldwide. 

The event will convene: 

• 100+ International G20 Youth Delegates and emerging international leaders 
• 200+ American rising public servants and changemakers from the Globally community 
• Embassy representatives, philanthropic leaders, cultural institutions, and corporate partners
• Leaders across government, diplomacy, media, technology, and civil society
