We promise you a stimulating Companis online Biennial ’21 celebration and fundraiser, “Where Compassion Meets Action.” Our 30-minute program will inspire, inform and delight! Register today, and closer to the event we'll provide you with a viewing link.

  • When: Thursday, Oct. 21st, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by a live Q & A with Companis' Gary Davis and Jennifer Wing.
  • Where: From the comfort of your home. The viewing link will be sent to all registered guests and donors closer to the event date!
  • We're aiming raise $140k during Biennial '21 to support our work matching volunteer professionals with nonprofits needing their skills and compassion. 
  • We have a matching pool of $40k, offered by a generous donor couple. That means your donation will be doubled!

Our program: Biennial '21 will feature a conversation with Dr. Ben Danielson, MD, clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington, former director of the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic, and chair of the Governor’s Interagency Council on Health Disparities.

Dr. Danielson will speak about human possibilities, potential, and what we can do today to cherish our black and brown children. He’ll be interviewed by Val Thomas-Matson founder and executive producer at Look, Listen and Learn TV, a 2021 Companis partner agency. 

Our celebration will also feature Companis Workers Mary Zwerling, David Johnson and Zheng Zhou who will share their experiences as placements with nonprofit partner agencies, Pushing BoundariesAsian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS), and ChildStrive, a Snohomish county agency.

ChildStrive is dedicated to helping children get the best start by taking advantage of early brain development and building on child and family strengths.
